Automatic capture
Every bank and card alert becomes a transaction, categorised, with the account it hit. 62 Indian banks. Read on the device — the message never leaves it.
WealthMonk turns the bank SMS already on your phone into a live picture of your money — spending, bills, credit cards, net worth and your path to financial independence. Parsed on your device. Never uploaded.
This is what happens, on your phone, the second a bank alert arrives. Steps 2 to 4 are the real app.
Your time, your privacy, or the plain truth. WealthMonk is built so you don’t have to choose.
Parsed on the phone. No bank login, no uploaded messages.
It reads the alerts your bank already sends, in the background.
No products to sell, so no reason to flatter your numbers.

These describe categories of app, not any specific product, and individual apps differ. A tick means the behaviour is good for you, not that the cell says “yes”. How WealthMonk keeps its side of this is documented on the Security page.
These are screenshots of the app itself, scrollable, with names and numbers changed. Every number on every screen is computed from the same transactions, so they never disagree.
Net worth, what you spent and earned this month, your latest transactions, and cards for goals, FIRE and bills.
Hide income with one tap, and reorder the cards to suit you.
This month’s spending against your budget, then income, budget and safe-to-spend per day, with your top category and spend trend beneath.
Safe-to-spend is recomputed with every bank alert.
Transactions, categories and merchants in one place, with search and filters for credits, debits and transfers.
The account, card and category are already filled in from the SMS.
Card statements, EMIs, subscriptions and utilities, read from SMS and ordered by due date.
The bank’s own confirmation closes the bill. You never tick it off.
Each credit card as its own card, with what is due and whether it is settled.
Interest is estimated from the card’s own rate wherever you have entered one.
Accounts, cards, investments and loans together, with a breakdown of where the value sits.
Cards and loans are liabilities. They are never counted as savings.
Each goal is marked on track or behind, with the shortfall and the monthly amount that fixes it.
Behind schedule? It says so, and shows what it would take.
Your FIRE number, your corpus today and the years to go, with what-if scenarios and a year-by-year projection.
Built from your real expenses and SIPs, with every assumption editable.
All your loans in one place, an avalanche or snowball payoff order, and a simulator for extra payments.
Roll each cleared EMI into the next loan and watch the date move.
Your financial-health grade, card health, and alerts that name the amount and the fix.
Every insight names the one thing it is asking you to decide.
Pick a tab, then scroll the phone. Names and numbers are changed.
Guided tours of the real app screens, with the actual calculation shown at every step. Nothing hidden, nothing hand-waved.
A bank alert becomes a categorised entry, with duplicates and your own transfers handled.
Watch itAssets minus liabilities, with cards counted as debt and the arithmetic in plain sight.
Watch itAvalanche or snowball, plus an extra payment, and the date it pulls forward.
Watch itYour real spend, your FIRE number and the years to reach it, step by step.
Watch itNo bank logins, no account aggregator, no spreadsheets. The alerts your bank already sends are the source of truth.
A one-time code by SMS. No password to remember, no email required.
The app explains exactly what it will read and what stays on the phone before it asks Android for permission.
Months of history import in one pass. New alerts land as they arrive, in the background, even overnight.
Spending, bills, cards, net worth, goals and the long game — computed from the same transactions, so the numbers agree with each other.
Every bank and card alert becomes a transaction, categorised, with the account it hit. 62 Indian banks. Read on the device — the message never leaves it.
Card statements, EMIs, premiums and utilities are read from SMS, reminded before they’re due, and marked paid by the bank’s own confirmation — not your memory.
Statement vs. minimum due, what’s still owed after part payments, and the rupee cost of revolving — with a nudge when idle cash could clear a card.
Accounts and cards kept apart, investments out of your expenses, loans that know when they end. One number that means what it says.
On Track, At Risk, Behind — or Not Fundable, when your surplus can’t carry it. WealthMonk says so, and tells you when a goal slips.
FIRE corpus and SIP projection, tax exposure, debt payoff strategy, insurance adequacy and a single financial-health score: spend, save, borrow, protect.
A card statement appears in Upcoming the moment the issuer’s SMS lands. When you pay it, the bank’s own confirmation marks it paid — in Bills, on the home card and in Card Health, all at once.
Most trackers add a credit card to your savings and count a SIP as spending. WealthMonk identifies cards from the SMS itself, keeps investments out of expenses, and anchors balances to what your bank last stated.
Spend, save, borrow, protect. Each is scored from your own ledger, and every insight arrives with the one decision it is asking you to make.
A finance app that reads SMS has one promise to keep before any other. Here is how WealthMonk keeps it — in the code, not just the policy.
The SMS parser, the 62-bank registry and the merchant dictionary all run on your phone. There is no server that ever sees a message.
The server keeps a SHA-256 fingerprint of each alert to prevent duplicates. It cannot be reversed into the message — the schema has no column for it.
Encrypted local database, keys in the Android Keystore, biometric lock on return, and screenshots blocked on every financial screen.
Delete Account removes every row on the server and every byte on the phone in one tap. No “30-day retention” fine print.
WealthMonk sells no mutual fund, loan, card or policy. Every recommendation is computed from your numbers, with nothing behind it.
We never ask for net-banking credentials or Account Aggregator consent. The alerts your bank already sends are enough.
A goal you can’t fund says “Not Fundable”. A card you haven’t paid shows the interest. A negative net worth is a minus sign.
It asks Android for SMS access, then looks only for transaction alerts from banks and card issuers — messages that carry an amount, a direction and a masked account. OTPs, personal messages and anything not from a bank are skipped by the parser and never stored.
Parsing runs entirely on your phone. The message text is never uploaded. See Security & privacy for exactly what is and isn’t transmitted.
Only what a transaction needs: amount, merchant, date, category, the last four digits of the account, and an anonymous SHA-256 fingerprint of the alert so the same one is never imported twice. Never the message, never a balance from the SMS, never an OTP.
All 62 banks and card issuers registered on India’s DLT sender system — every public-sector, private, small-finance and payments bank, the major foreign banks and American Express. If a format isn’t recognised yet, the app lets you send its shape (digits and names already stripped) so we can add it.
WealthMonk is free to use. It sells no funds, loans or insurance and earns no commission from any recommendation — so nothing in the app has a reason to steer you.
Android is the primary platform: iOS does not let any app read SMS, so automatic capture is Android-only. An iOS build with manual entry and the planning tools is on the roadmap.
Yes — Profile → Delete Account removes your profile and every transaction, budget, goal, bill and asset on the server, then wipes the phone. It takes seconds and cannot be undone. Details on the account deletion page.
